This project has organically grown into one of my largest and most varied – spanning from late 2012 to the present day.
Based in a beautiful Georgian townhouse, I conceived a brand concept to convey the warmth of home and celebrate the beauty of the East Midlands.
This was translated through all aspects from interior and exterior styling, art, design and marketing right through to attitude.

From the outset, Matt asked questions that made us think about our business in a whole new way, navigating us through an exciting but difficult transition from the old thinking of our smaller scale practice into a new era.
The project was vast in scale but Matt’s ideas and creative vision were discussed and clearly explained at each stage with the process being very much a collaborative effort. When it was time to actualize the ideas, in respect of the practice design, Matt looked after every aspect in fine detail.
We already had the name of the practice in place – East Midlands Orthodontics. Matt pitched us an interior design scheme that encapsulated the beauty of the counties we serve with a relaxed and warm feel of home – perfect for our patients and team and uncommon in a medical environment. This was achieved through interior décor, signage and an extensive art scheme based on the stately homes and beauty spots of the region.
He also sourced and managed all outside contractors such as the tradesmen and sign makers with no noticeable interruption to the running of the practice which was operational at the time all the work was going on! Quite an achievement considering how busy our practice is.
All the work he created whether from the design of the practice, artwork, website, social media down to details such as stationery, stemmed from the great brand he created. The importance and power of good branding, and what it is, was made evident. It carries through everything we do, not only in the aesthetic of how we present ourselves but in also in attitude.
